To be located at Security Cell at Head Office, Gandhinagar, and its Subordinate Security Cells in Hazira, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar and liable to serve anywhere in Gujarat Maritime Board jurisdiction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Officers in the execution of their assigned duties in their respective territorial jurisdiction
Required Skills/Experience:
Skilled professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience of working within organisations with similar mandate, or reputed private organisations, on the date of application. Have basic knowledge of using computers and information technology. Have a sound knowledge of spoken and written English and Gujarati languages.
Minimum Education Qualifications Required:
Graduate in any discipline or its equivalent.
Minimum Years of Work Experience Required:
2 years of experience of working within organisations with similar mandate, or reputed private organisations.
Expected Start Date:
1 November 2025
Additional Preferences, if any:
Ex-Serviceman with the last held rank of Petty Officer (Master-at-Arms/ Naval Provost) in the Indian Navy or its equivalent in the other services, or discharged from the rank of Pradhan Navik (General Duty/ Provost Branch) in the Indian Coast Guard or its equivalent in the Central Armed Police Forces/ State Police. Possess a sound knowledge of spoken and written English and Gujarati languages. Possess postgraduate education in a relevant discipline.

As per the board's approval vide Resolution No. 3872, the constitution of a new Security Cell is proposed. The recruited persons would be placed as executive and administrative assistants to the officers in the Security Cell. The selected candidates are also expected to have a sound knowledge about operating in Gujarat. As such, there is limited expertise in these areas among the existing departmental staff, thus, the appointment of new staff as described above may please be considered.
